QUESTION: my black lab is very excitable and sometimes i have a hard time controlling her and to calm her down.  I know that she is still young but sometimes she runs trough the house jumping on things or people.
Do you have any other suggestions?

Answer
Hi Cheryl ;  Ok, make sure she gets a walk or run as often as you can.
Try her on some Melatonin - this is all Natural and very safe for dogs:
You can try her on 3mg  (1 x per day ) in the am.
Melatonin has been proven to help calm an anxious pet.
I would give Melatonin a chance first before Valerian.

BEST wishes...
