NuVET Plus for felines can be added to your program.  I would Not take her off the Tacrolimus as she does need this.  Please just add 1/2 teaspoon of NuVET Feline formula to her cat food - mix well.  NuVet will help to reduce inflammation and helps to Fight off any infections.
*** turmeric powder ***
You can also add Turmeric powder to her food - JUST a Pinch each day - this is a herb powder for cooking.
Turmeric  helps to reduce inflammation and any swelling.
The taste is very strong - add a pinch into the cat food or you can mix it into some low fat cottage cheese ?

Call the NuVET folks and ask for the cat powder:  remember, I only want you cat to get 1/2 a teaspoon per day.  ( tell the NuVET folks the amount that I want for your cat kid)
