Question
I have a 10 month old spayed, female labrador. She's had 5 uti infections and currently has one. The vet recommends a corrective surgery. Apparently, her vulva is not very exposed to air, and this is the cause of the infections. What can I do to treat this now and prevent them in the future? I don't want to keep her on antibiotics all the time and I also don't want a product that I have to give her 3 times plus daily to get rid of it. Her diet is good, she drinks a lot of water. I appreciate your help

Hi Jo, I understand you vet wants to do a skin fold surgery on the Vulva area.

That is a possible solution to your problem.
