last week she started bleeding she went through a heat back around the first of oct.she has never had a litter of pups

Hello Donna, As with any elderly female, human or pet, we tend to have problems as we get older.
She could have a little infection in her female organs.  It would be a good idea to call the vet.
They may want to see her and run some tests.  This also can be something that is normal for an elderly gal.  Just give the vet a call to be sure.
