Answer
Oh boy, Valley Fever is an awful thing to have!  My brother had it a number of years ago ...
Yes, and pets can get Valley Fever too.  That DARN Spore...
Well, we can try a few supplements to help him gain weight.
Also, a home-cooking recipe may help :

SEE here:  Food:

1.  Feed this boy the following for the next few weeks:

½ pkg. Elbow Macaroni (cooked) - cooked separately
1 Cup Brown Rice (Cook separately)
2 Eggs Hard-boiled and chopped up finely - very small bites...
6 Tums Crushed (calcium carbonate)
½ pkg. Frozen Broccoli and
½ pkg. Frozen Carrots - steamed until crisp/tender (chop up finely) ( WELL diced )

Mix everything together. Can be frozen in small portions. You can also add 1 tablespoon, small curd cottage cheese to each meal-  to add x-tra calories

YOU can also add a little bit of cooked ground chicken.. ( about 2 cups, to the entire recipe)
YOU don't have to do the veggies / optional...
