Alternative Medicine for Pets/Ivermectin toxicity

Question
I use Ivomec for heartworm for our dogs.  2 Springer/Cocker females, 3 yrs old.  Gave Ivmermectin 3 cc to each-too much I guess, 8 PM Thurs eve 3/12.  In AM 3/13 one was blind, other partially, generally malaise.  Took to vet-used Toximax (charcoal,) SubQ fluids, large amt to flush.  Prescribed 20 Mg. 1xday, Prednisone for 1 week.  Plus Pred Acetate 1% 10 mg eyedrops 4xday.
Question:  Is there a natural remedy for the inflammation?  Gave the 20 mg Pred and dogs got sick-hate that stuff. Eyes are better today, not so dilated, but would like to stop Prednisone and find a more natural remedy.
Last eve gave Bentonite liquid in milk to both.
Please respond today, they need immediate attention to reverse these symptoms.
THANKS!  Carol

Answer
HI Carol
You really need to get in touch with Holistic Animal Medicines - www.holisticanimalmedicines.com - they are experienced to give you the answers and the correct remedies for this.
It sounds like the vet has put them on quite a cocktail and they will probably be needing a liver detox as well.
Holistic Animal meds also have Homeopathic vaccines (nosodes), and homeopathic heartworm medications which we use for our own dogs and recommend to all our clients.
Holistic Animal Medicines will be able to advise you on the best course of action to remedy the situation ASAP.  They are very quick to respond and send out their orders.
Many thanks,
Silva.
