Thanks,   Eileen

Answer
Hi Eileen
It sounds like it could be mange, but without a proper vet diagnosis it is very difficult to tell.  You may be better off going to the vet for a correct diagnosis.  Then you can focus on a natural treatment plan to alleviate the condition.
You may want to have a look at some websites for information on remedies that may be of assistance once you get the diagnosis.
www.herbal-treatments.com
www.naturalrearing.com
Sorry I can't be of more help, but it is difficult to recommend something without know exactly what is going on.
Many thanks,
Silva.
