a lab 9 years old ,  just diagnosed with TPLo they want to do surgery  I dont think she up to it weight 87 lbs in good shape, have her on restristed activity, no jumping,  not walking her just letting her natural relx, she can extend her leg to ground but does not walk on it yet I read your atricle I will go get omega super 3 any other suggestions waht are these wafer tablets.  I believe you said relax for 2 weeks than a little walking no running,  any other suggestions,

Hi Kim - TPLO surgery options!  Yes, the area will heal itself.  The lab will end up with some arthritis but EVEN with the TPLO surgery they can end up with Arthritis.

Also, sounds like you are doing a good job with her Activity levels.
I would suggest no running for some time.  Leash walking is fine.
