Alternative Medicine for Pets/sweat gland adenoma dogs

Question
Hi,  I have a small long-haired jack russell mix.  She is probably around 9
years old (17.3 pounds). I've had her for 7 years.  A small bump appeared on
her chest that became red, pussy and cracked.  The vet had no idea what it
was but gave me Gentizol to put on it 2x a day.  After 3 weeks it disappeared.
Now a small little bump that is near her tail has turned into the same type of
larger bump.  It looks red, cracked, enlarged, etc.  Another, more experienced
vet at the same office has told me that this one is a sweat gland adenoma and
non-cancerous.  Said Gentizol will not help.  Said to just let it take it's course.
If it become pussy, bloody, then they can remove with surgery.  But said there
is nothing I could do in the meantime.

I don't want to wait until that happens.  Is their some naturalpathic remedy I
can do for my dog to take care of this?  Something is obviously changing in
her body.

She is given a senior dog multi-vitamin every day and omega fish oil tablet
broken over her food every day as well.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Answer
HI Patrice
If you have a look at www.holisticanimalmedicines.com they have an anal gland support product which would help.  Surgery should be a last resort.  There is also another company called www.petalive.com and they too sell all-natural herbal and homeopathic products for pets.  I know they have an anal gland support product as well.
I hope this is helpful.
Thanks,
Silva.
