Question
I have an 11 year old English pointer/American bulldog, he had a mild case of pancreatitis, we use to feed him canidae platinum dry dog food, we switched it to wellness core reduced fat, the vomiting stopped, then we switched back to the old food and now he started vomiting again, only a couple of times, but now i am worried.
Any suggestions???? thanks

Answer
Hi Arthur,  this boy needs low fat and the Wellness Core low fat did work.   Also, if you want to give his pancreas a rest - feed this for a week and then go to the Wellness again:

You can make a low-fat chicken dog food by mixing:
*three boiled and chopped, skinless chicken breasts, 1 cup cooked carrots, 1 cup cooked white rice and 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese.
You should refrigerate any leftovers.

If you want to start home-cooking, let me know.  There are a number of recipes you can make up and then freeze.

Best wishes
