I have a 4 yr old chi that is allergic to corn and chicken. It has been about a year since I figured this out. He will not eat Ivo, Wellness, Canine Caviar, etc. For the past year he has eaten the dog food that comes in a roll that you slice. It is supposed to be used when you are training them as a treat, but it does say that you can use it as food. However, he sheds, and he still licks his paws sometimes. He has not had an ear infection since Dec. 2008. I feel that he is still allergic to something else, maybe an inhalant and not food. What can I do so he is not itchy?

Hi Cyndi - You can have the vet do some allergy testing on this chi.  ( it will cost you...)
I wonder if it is Environmental allergies?
The Food, in the roll is fine for your Chi. ( My chi likes that kind, too)

I can suggest a few supplements to try on this little one -  Let me know if you want to try them?
