Question
I found 3 1/2 dollar cysts on my 12 yr old lab/chow mix.  It doesen't seem to be bothering him when I touch it.  I see no signs of change in behavior, eating, bathroom routine.  What should I do?

Thank you.

Answer
fatty tissue cysts? on lab dog; fatty deposits; cyst on canine ;

Hi Jeanie , Well, it could be just a fatty deposit of tissue.  Only the Vet will be able to tell your for sure.  Sometimes I will just watch an area to see if it grows.  Also, if you are very nervous about this then let the Vet take a look.
Don't rush into any cutting... sometimes they want to cut too much.
It can't hurt to get the opinion of the vet.

What is your dog eating for food and brand?
Any oils or supplements...
We can try a few nutritional things if you would like.
