Question
My 11 year old pitbull cross has pussy blisters between most of her toes on her pads.  She also has been producing a lot of eye buggers.  My normal vet thinks it's mange and we have treated her numerous times with Vetrenarian.  The last atempt was to mega dose her (a dose per day) and she had neurological issues.
I am now seeing a holistic vet and have her on supplements.  The blisters are getting worse and she is now itching under her eyes so much she has caused large scabby sores.
I am at a loss and it's tearing me apart seeing my baby in so much pain and discomfort.  I am considering treating her for mange again with another medicine recommended by my old vet.  The holistic vet does not recommend this.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
pitbull skin infections; pitbull itchy paw pads;
Chuck - Oh, boy!  So sad... What supplements does the holistic vet have you on now?
He is right about the treatment for Mange it is a poison / very harsh drug.

It is very hard for your dog's liver to break down and clean out the drugs.

I would be glad to help with a Home-made diet and supplements... Would you like to cook for your girl?  You can cook up 1-2 weeks of food and freeze it in individual freezer bags.

Let me know if you want my recipes?
