Question
My dog was diagnosed with Pemphigus. The prednisone almost killed him. What else can this be treated with?

Answer
Hi Sharon,  So sorry your dog can't take the steroids.  That is one of the best ways medical science has been able to deal with pemphigus.
I may be able to help you with a few supplements to help reduce inflammation and infection.

How to Use Turmeric for Arthritis in Dogs or to "Reduce Inflammation"

Turmeric
Turmeric is an herb that has anti-inflammatory properties. Often used in cooking, turmeric's effectiveness is said to be comparable to cortisone in helping ease the pain of arthritis.

Next - MOST of my clients take the NuVET Plus supplement each day.  This is an immune system support and allergy blaster.  NuVET also helps to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation.
Holistic and not sold in any pet stores - sold at holistic vet offices.... and here:
Please call in at 1-800-474-7044  they do ship to Canada for an x-tra charge.
Ask them for the 60 count bottle at 39.00
Give order code 81098 and ask about the 15% Off program...
We have many dogs and cats taking NuVET that have pemphigus and cancer.  We have seen some good results in the reduction of inflammation.

Give the Turmeric and the NuVET a try.
BEST wishes...
