I HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD BEAGLE AND JUST RECENTLY OUT OF THE BLUE HER LEFT EYELID HAD SWOLLEN. TOOK HER TO VET AND TOLD HYPERSENSITIVITY TO STAPH, BLEPHARITIS!! THE ONLY THING NEW IN OUR HOUSE WAS A RECENTLY PURCHASED CHRISTMAS TREE, WHICH SHE HAS NOT REALLY BOTHERED AND MY FATHER-IN-LAW HAD BEEN GETTING OVER A STAPH INFECTION.  VET PUT HER ON 4 WEEKS OF PREDNISONE 2X DAILY, ANTIBIOTIC 250 MG 2X DAILY AND ANTI ITCH DROPS FOR 2 WEEKS, IMPROVEMENT, BUT I HATE THE PREDNISONE SHE SEEMS MISERABLE.  I HAVE ORDERED IMMUNE LIVER SUPPORT FROM NATIVE REMEDIES(NOT HERE YET) AND I HAVE READ ABOUT TO NU VET WAFERS.  ANYTHING ELSE YOU RECOMEND?

If you want to taper off the Prednisone steroid, do it slowly with your Vet.
The vet did not order Benadryl 25 mg 2 x per day?????  That can sure help, too.
Ask your vet about giving Benadryl rather than all the Prednisone.

NuVET will help to re- build a low immune system and fight off the allergens that are hitting her.
There are many different kinds of staff infections.  Not sure if the Father-in-laws staff is related to your dog's infection.

I don't know of results in regards to the liver product you ordered.  Let me know how you feel it is working for your beagle?  Give any natural products 2-3 weeks to kick-in and build a blood level.

Yes - it would be wonderful to see her start taking the NuVET supplement.
