Question
Hi!
My name is Kile and I have a 6 year old golden retriever who was diagnosed with skin cancer 1 month ago and she was given 2 months to live. Since we did not want to put her through chemotherapy, we decided to try Noni products on her tumors. A month ago, she had 50+ tumors all over, and today she has about 12.  My question: is there any additional treatment we can give her that is not chemical or involving drugs.
What is the life expectancy of a dog diagnosed with skin cancer and what is the recommended treatment besides chemo.  Once her tumors are gone, does that equate to her being cancer free?  (A month ago we confirmed that the cancer had not yet spread internally).  I appreciate your guidance and hope you can help us to prolong Belle's life. Yours sincerely, Kile Young, 12 yrs old

Answer
Hi Kile, I am so sorry that your Golden has skin cancer.  Wow, you have had some good luck with the Noni products.  I understand you want some natural options for your golden kid.
I sometimes offer Turmeric for reduction of inflammation - swelling????
Also, we have had great luck with the NuVET supplements.

I can't answer most of your cancer questions because I don't know what Kind of skin cancer she has been diagnosed with.
Sure, you can always try Natural options and a special canine cancer diet.
