Question
My cat is 2 years old.  Has been stuffy for a while.  Recently sneezes a lot and has long unclear discharge from one nostril.  Was on Clavimox (125 mg twice a day) for a week before I had to stop since he started throwing up.  Seemed to have responded to antibiotic though (no discharge while on medication).  What alternative medication do you suggest.

Answer
Hi Amir,  Yes, the antibiotics work but can upset the stomach.
Talk to your VET about trying another kind of antibiotic.

You can try the Natural Antibiotic called Colloidal Silver -

This is not a drug but a natural product.

It's worth a try.

Silver Shield -- I have used this product - excellent quality:
You can place a small amount in his food 2 x per day  ( Give the child dosage)
YOU can find this at most Nutrition Stores or on-line:

You can also get an eye dropper and place some in the nostrils.
Just a drop in each ---IF your cat will allow this????

Most of my clients are also on NuVET Feline Formula - it's a powder supplement you place in the food - VERY Safe - Helps to Re-build the immune system and fights off infection.
Not sold in stores:  you can order here:

( this is my personal web site - check it out)

Good luck !
HOPE this helps
