Alternative Medicine for Pets/Crystals in a male cat

Question
Other than a special diet, is there anything I can do or give this male cat to keep the sand and crystals from forming in the bladder?  The bladder wall has already thicken and he has already had the penile operation to open small tubes to urinate.

Hi Jakie,  Well, you must do the special diet for the oxalate or struvites crystals.  They will come back if you feed regular foods. ( Sorry )
You can also give cranberry:  ( most pet stores sell the powder kind for cats)
