Question
Hello,
My friend Linda had a tiny poodle, he weighs about 5 lbs, He is consistently scratching, sometimes his hair will fall out. He does not have fleas. He eats Purnia dog food, and he eats a lot of Pup peroni, dog treats. He is 3 years old.

I have a 6 month old Shih Tzu , female who weighs 4 lbs, I got her at 7 weeks old. since day one, she itches, and bites herself. Her hair is not falling out, and there is not fleas. I also have a 1 1/2 year old female Pekingese, she is constantly licking herself, especially at night, scratches all the time too. I have them on Iams dog food, for puppy's, and this last time, I got lamb and rice Iams. I have other small dogs in the home, and they do not do this. Can you tell us, what may be the problem?

Answer
Hi - Well, the tiny poodle is on a food that is full of Corn and other junk fillers.
HOW about a better brand of food and some oil, too.
Wellness, Innova, Merrick or Solid gold are great foods.  Also, I would add just 1/4 of a teaspoon of PURE olive oil to his food each day:

NEXT:  the shih tzu and the Pekingese also could use a better brand of dog food.
HOW about the Brands I mentioned above?  They can be found at most quality pet stores.

You can also add some Pure olive oil ( just 1/2 teaspoon per day for your shih tzu and pekingese.

MOST of my clients take NuVET Wafers or powder - It is an allergy blaster and immune system booster .... ALSO, helps with dry skin and takes away the itchies.

I sure hope with a food change and some supplements, you will see results in less than 30 days!
