Question
Muf has a dry, scaly, itchy spot on her back.  Took her to the vet.  He gave her antibiotic and antihistimine.  No results.  I've put juice from aloe plant on it.  Still itchy.  When you touch the spot, her little leg goes crazy.  We changed her diet several weeks ago to a healthy, holistic formula by Blue Co.

Answer
Itchy dry skin and coat:  Did you try the Silver Shield and the NuVET?

Itchy paws and dry coat:
Yorkie skin problems;
Hi Betty, Did Muf have a skin scrape?  The vet should have done this to rule out mange mites and other little critters.  ( MANY times we can not see them with the Human Eye)

You can also try this little one on the NuVET supplement -
Many clients, at our Clinic, use the NuVET supplement to aid in allergies and healing.
You can give this little one 1/2 teaspoon of NuVET 2 x per day (  hide in some Wet dog food) **** NuVET also makes a wafer that you can break into 1/2s.

One more option is some Silver Shield by Nature's Sunshine.  You can place this salve over the dry area 1 x per day for a few weeks.  This is all natural and very safe, too.
Call some of your local health or vitamin stores for Nature's Sunshine Products.

HOPE this helps
