Question
hi, my kitten has infected eyes... they always seal shut no matter how many time i clean them and when they are open they can not open all the way, only about half. they are extreamly red and swollen, we can not afford to take him to a vet, so we are trying to find the best home remedy. i have been cleaning it out about 4 times daily with warm wash cloth for the past 2 days, not helping mush but trying to prevent lost eye site for the little guy. please any advise at all email me back or call me anytime at all

You can also use Silver - a mineral - drops  ( into eyes)

Hello Sadie ;  I am sorry but you kitten needs to see a Vet for antibiotics.  It sounds like conjunctivitis and the vet is needed for this.  Some VET offices will allow you to make payments.  I would think this is a "low cost visit" just to check the eyes and get the antibiotic drops or ointment.
I sure do wish that I could help you more.

You can buy some cotton balls and Normal Saline eye wash ( the kind for people) --- it may help to keep the area clean.  

Not much you can do with a VET's RX for ointment.
