Question
I have a female German Shepard, who will be 13 years old on September 1.  She is currently taking Phenylpropanoiamine for urinary incontinence.  She was treated about two months ago for urine scald.  The medication she was give made her throw up daily but did help the infection.  When her meds wer gone the vet told me to keep her clean and put desitin on her. I was doing this until I hurt my back and could not bend over.  Now she has urine scald again, is there any thing else I can put on her to help clear this up once and for all?  If almost impossible to take her to the vet, she can't get into a car anymore.  I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank You
Pam

Hi Pam - Oh, poor you and poor old dog!  Yes, Order some Silver Shield gel -
You can order here - Or call around to your Local Health/Vitamin store

Place this on the red areas 1 x per day.
If you can wipe first with an unscented baby wipe, it will be helpful.

Next, NuVET supplement is a natural skin healer...
NuVET helps to reduce inflammation.
Order here for NuVET - Just (1 1/2) per day of this Wafer treat/ supplement.
http://www.nuvet.com/81098
Use order code 81098 and ask for the 15% discount

You can also give Ester C ( 500 mg) 1 per day - long term.
Ester C helps with healing, too.
This can be found at any CVS or Walgreens pharmacy.
