Question
Hi.  I have a 7 1/2 month old Coton du Tulear male.  He is on a totally raw diet.  We went for a swim and walked on the beach of Lake superior on Sunday.  He picked something up on the beach and ate it before i could get it.  As of yesterday he had very runny stool in the afternoon and now it is formed again but covered in mucus.

Answer
Hi Wendy,  The mucus stool is normal when someting passes through the intestines very quickly.  Give your baby some chicken and rice for the next 24 hrs.  Also, feed him some canned pure pumpkin, about 1/8 of a cup today and 1/8 of a cup tomorrow.
Should be ok after that, if not.... Please see your local vet.

BEST of luck and don't forget the NuVET pet supplement vitamins***
