Question
My dog is 15 years old and weighs 53 pounds. He is very restless, nervous and doesn't sleep well, seems to have anxiety as well.
A friend said valerian root capsules would help but she wasn't sure what the dosage would be. Should i give him 1 capsule in the evening or 1 in the morning and another in the evening.

Answer
Hello Leesa-  Yes, Valerian will be a very good option for your Senior Citizen Canine.
Look for the Time - Release option and give just 1 per day 1 hour prior to bedtime.  ( if not, give 1 in the am and 1 in the pm)
