Expert: Herbs, NuVet Plus Supplements, Dog/Cat Food Recipes; ( Marie) - 9/5/2010

Has a herniated disk - being medicated by a Vet with 3 tabs a day of Prdisone 20 mg & two tabs a day fo Nova Carprofen 75 mg.  He is in a lot of pain and the vet is closed, is there something OTC we can give the dog?  Thanks!

Jackie, I would call the vet.  The drug choices were good ones to help your poor lab's pain level.  There are a few others things the vet can do ... I have some helpful supplements but they don't work as quick as your pet needs.  Supplements can take weeks to a month for results.
Please call the vet ASAP.
