Question
We have a 2 yr old B.T. he had mites when we first adopted him, we treated it and he has been fine. The last 9 months his fur has been thinning underneath from his throat all the way to his belly, behind his ears, on the top of his head. and on the side of his legs. Could it be mites again? Or should we try Nuvet?
Also we have a BUGG (half boston/half pug) we adopted, he had fleas, we have both dogs on frontline but i don't want to do this forever. Can we use nuvet for fleas also? (our bugg didn't have fleas bad just a couple here and there). thanks!
AnswerBoston Terrier skin and coat; NuVET for Bostons; Probiotics for Bostons;
Hi guys --- LOVE the photo - You can take your little one to the Vet for a Skin Scrape test.
Otherwise, LET's Try the following: All Natural No drugs at all:
I would love to see both your Boston and Bugg on the NuVet Supplement.
See here to order:
http://www.apluspetcare.com/untitled4.html
It an Immune system booster and Allergy Blaster - PLUS -help to heal the skin and re-grow fur.
see above - 60 day money back guarantee
Next - For Flea control - all Natural : D.Earth powder:
Here is my post on how to use D.E. on pets: ( NuVET does help with Fleas - D.Earth is very wonderful to combat fleas....)

When you order the NuVET - ask for the Hot Spot Tea Tree shampoo- VERY soothing and will help with the fur re-growth... Reduces inflammation.
I think it is about 12.00 a bottle. Only give your dogs a bath every 10 days. ( otherwise, the skin will dry out and the oils will be gone)
Also, please add 1 teaspoon of olive oil to the food EVERY OTHER day...
GREAT for skin and coat.
I would give the 2 year old 1 1/2 NuVETS per day ( Wafers) long term.
The Bugg can just have 1 per day - long term.
If you need help with new food options? LET Me know.
HOPE this helps - YOU can alway use Frontline at 1/2 the dosage.... When I have used this product I share 1 tube between 2-3 dogs. I never give the whole dosage they refer to...
***1/2 the tube will do the trick rather than the full tube
You can also add a good Probiotic or use ACTIVIA yogurt - 1/3 cup per day for 2 weeks... It helps to stop the overgrowth of yeast bacteria... Many dogs have a Yeast problem.
Activia is the best yogurt on the market.
Keep me posted.
