Question
Bijoux
Bijoux
Bijoux will be 5 on February 11,2012.  She eats Euchanuba dog food.  Is fed 2 times a day.  She also gets snacks occasionally from us as she is a beggar.  Bijoux is loved and a member of our family as we have had her since she was 10 weeks old. Let me start by saying Bijoux sleeps in our bed with us.  She whines if she can't get on the bed.  That however is not the problem.  The problem is that Bijoux has started having little poop accidents in the night.  She will not get out  of the bed, doesn't make any noise to wake us she just squeaks out a little turd which I wake up to in the morning.  To say it plainly she poops the bed.  It is NOT every not but I would safely say it is a couple of times a week.  I haven't done anything differently with Bijoux as far as eating or drinking and yet for about the past 6 weeks this is becoming a problem.  Please help.  I love her but I can't handle the pooping in the bed.

Answer
Hi Marsha and Little Bijoux!  Let me say that I am not fond of the ingredients in the food choice.  Too much junk fillers.  So, I would change her food - slowly to another brand.
Let me know if you would like some suggestions?

Also, I would give her the Main feeding in the am 75% of her daily intake in the am.
The other 25% in the afternoon or Pm .

Her sphincter muscle may be weakening with age.  ( a food with more quality ingredients will be helpful)

Please contact me at my private e-mail if you want my food and supplement suggestions for your baby Miss Bijoux.  THANKS for the great photo!
