Question
Hello My name is Alex and I write to you hoping you can help my out.  I have a 6 month ol Pitbull who's experiencing some rash for about 3 weeks now.  These things just popped up out of nowhere and there just not getting better.

Now not only does he have them on his chest area but down his underbelly, on his legs, his torso and right on top of his head.
The poor thing is itching and has a very distinct smell now, like musty/mousey which is strong to the point that it fills the area where he is.

My fiancee and I do not know what it could be though it is worrying us.  Especially since we've been down this road before with our previous dog and the outcome was a very frustrating, very expensive and a very sad one as we lost him due to complications he had tied to the treatment he was under. (Prednisone)

Just to give you some background info. on our situation.  The rash came out of nowhere as I said before strating on his chest and then it multiplied througout his body.  We have visited our vet for three weeks now and to no avail.
Currently he is on an antibiotic (Obex) i believe is called as well as some allegy pills.

In the begining the doctor tought it may be related to the food he was taking which was Orijen.  Which actually was responding good to but it was giving him a bit of soft stool, then we strated him on Blue Buffalo mixed in and he was dine for a bit but then the rash came along.  At this point we took him off of Blue Buffalo and went back to Purina One (Lamb) for puppies which is what the breeder had Maximus on since he was tiny.

At his point I do not know what to think, I mean we had I guess you can call it bad luck with our prior dog 'Jag' and heartache at the end that now seeing Maximus with like symptoms just makes us really concerned.

Please help us out as any information would be most appreciated for we love our Maximus so much and don't want to him suffer.
Thank you very much in advance for your time and attention with our case.

Sincerely,
Alex
