Question
I have an 8-year-old male, neutered cat.  Buddy is very sweet, but he's had allergies since I got him.  (I also have his brother from the same litter who has no allergies or other problems.) Buddy constantly licks himself - his whole body.  He appears to be itchy all the time.  He has "ulcers" on his upper lip from the constant licking and a bare patch on his stomach that always looks raw. The vet prescribed .3 oz of prednisolone two to three times a week, and .4 oz of cyclosporin.  These things worked for the first couple of months, but his lip ulcer and raw tummy patch have reappeared.  He eats prescription dry cat food because a few years ago he had a urinary blockage. Any suggestions on what natural supplements I can give him that might decrease the licking?

Hi Kathy,  I would love to help you and Buddy.
Supplements to help with excessive licking and itchy skin;  NuVet Plus for cats and kittens;
All Natural and can be given with anything your Vet has also ordered for Buddy.
The supplements are not medications at all.

Look for Colloidal Silver in your local Nutrition Stores or on-line:

1.  Colloidal Silver -  This is a Natural Antibiotic and Not a drug
See here for the usage of Silver in Cats - (it's worth a try:  rub some on the ulcer area and belly )  You can do the liquid or buy it in a Salve ointment...( VERY safe to use)
Use Silver for 90 days or less...
Keep around for everyone in the family, people and pets:
