Expert: Herbs, NuVet Plus Supplements, Dog/Cat Food Recipes; ( Marie) - 6/24/2011

Question
My 1,5 year old American Bulldog is loosing his hair and has some hot spots. I changed his food for the organic Acana dog food and the vet gave him a shot for  mange mite, tics, fleas and anti-worms.
Can I try the NuVet? I do not know if they have it here in Curacao but I'll see.
What else can I do to help my friend????

Hi Shariselle,  I am so sorry that the NuVet product is not available in your country.
Glad she did see the Vet for some help.
The Acana is a very good food choice.

How about a Probiotic : **
Buy some Acidophilus 1 billion CFUs - can be found at most human Health food stores:
Give this baby 1 per day.  
All Natural and safe Probiotic... It will help with Yeast that may be in his blood and intestines.  VERY common....

Give  1 per day for at least 2 months or even 3 months...


Good luck!  Tell here to have the Vet do a skin scrape to rule out fungus.
