Alternative Medicine for Pets/fleas on cats

Question
I use Advantage (a strong pesticide) to get rid of my cat's fleas, but as she is 11 years old I notice she doesn't tolerate it as well as she used to and seems a bit sick (lethargic) after I give it to her. Because I was reluctant to use it, I waited until the infestation was quite bad and she was going mad attacking her fur to get rid of the fleas. Also, with her ingesting the fleas, I heard she could get worms or other parasites. Do you know of ways to control fleas with other remedies other than the Advantage type strong pesticides?

Answer
Hi Christie,
The best products I have found for treating fleas are "Flea Free" or "Fleeze" - these are totally natural and are made from apple cider vinegar, garlic and herbs.  They are full of vitamins, minerals and enzymes that keep your cat healthy on the inside, and keep fleas away on the outside.  These products are easily added to daily food (5-10 drops onto meals).
You have to think that if something is a "pesticide" and you need to wear gloves when applying it, and wash your hand thoroughly afterwards - what is this toxic poison doing to our pets?  I can never ever recommend these toxins for animals.
Our dogs have always been on Fleeze, and they have never had a flea at all.
It may take 10 days to 2 weeks for the Fleeze to start acting in her body, but once it does she should show a marked improvement.
Do let me know how it goes and if you need any further information.
With thanks.
Silva.
