Question
Hello,
I am a 49 year old indiviual. I am on disability for OCD. My question is this...I would like to make an advance directive,is there anything I need to know? I live in Las Vegas Nevada. I assume if I get one...I would give it to my doc and family members? Any sugestions or help would be appreciated. Regards-Skyler

Answer
Advance directives vary from state to state about who and to whom you must give them.  I would suggest asking an attorney (most attorneys will give you a free initial consultation) or call the hospital in your area, most of the hospitals nowadays require advance directives upon admission.  They should be able to point you in the right direction.  Hope this helps.  Paula
