Question
she has not be officially diagnosed with alz or dementia, but she definitely shows signs of memory loss. she constantly burps very loud and she says its because she hungry, and cant remember when was the last time she ate. could burping be apart of alz or dementia. i really do not like the sound of it.

Answer
Hello Celeste,

While i am not a physician, i would certainly have your mother in law checked for any gastrointestinal issues.

Not necessarily related to Alzheimer's or Dementia, many older folks do have a strong shift in diet tolerance and perhaps you may need to change her diet to accomodate her body.

It's an easy appt. with the doctor, call today.
