Question
Hi, my husband has been having symptoms for 3 to 4 years. He is 48. Do you know of any studies we may get involved in so we may help others. Also we are waiting for a specialist at ku hospital in kansas. The appointment is about 8 weeks out. What centers do you recommend for evaluation.

Answer
Hi Leslie,
If your husband has an appointment with Dr. Jeff Burns or Dr. Russ Swerdlow you have no worries!  You are in better than the best hands!  As for studies, they will probably have some up and going that he might be able to participate in.

If your appointment isn't there, then I would suggest that you ask your Alzheimer's Association for the list of studies that are currently being done in your area.  They would have the most up to date list of what is happening in your area.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  Paula
