Question
Thanks, Paula, for your support and quick answer. Do I need a Dr. referral to get Hospice involved?  I don't know how to go about this.  Sometime ago I asked his neurologist the same question and he said "no".  He has a GP who would say "yes".
I am breaking down quickly and need help.
Thank you so much,
Phyllis

Answer
Hi Phyllis,

I am not sure where you are, and states differ from one another about how Hospice is engaged.  The heck with your neurologist!  Got with the PCP.  I am not sure why your neurologist would say no, except it reminds me of when my daughter was a baby and had colic and the doctor told me it wasn't so bad!  Easy for him to say he didn't have to listen to her scream all evening!!  That was the last time we went to see him!!

Call your PCP TOMORROW!!!!

Hang in there!  The end will come soon.  Remember you are not alone in this even if you feel like you are!  I am thinking about you!
