Hello doctor , I am 24 years old guy from mumbai India.. I am facing weak memory problem since i was 15 yrs old.. It happned at once with me.. When i was studying in 7th class , I could not understand 1 question of mathmatics.. At that time i realized that my memory is weak..from that time this thinking set in my mind that i have a memory problem..now my short term memory is very weak. I can not remember what happned in my day. I forgets everything in previous day also..my life is in darkness..I want to sucide now beause there is no option..I am a poor guy even i do not have enough money for a M.r.i. Scan..

Hello Shakti,

Thank you for writing.  I am not a doctor, but have my Masters and have worked with Alzheimer's for almost 30 years.

Please go to the Johns Hopkins Hospital website and click on their Alzheimer's / Memory clinic site.  Please tell them your situation and see if they can help you.   They may be a better source than i.  My speciality is with older, geriatric folks.

You may also go to University of Pittsburgh hospital website and contact Doctors there that handles the Alzheimer's / Memory clinic.   

They are both Very knowledgeable and may be able to find a grant to do an MRI for you.
