Question
Do you know of an information source that deals with this topic?

Thanks,

Andy Leslie

Answer
I don't have a specific source right here.  But you could call the Alzheimer's Association and they could send you stuff.  I can tell you that it is a progression of the Downs.  Basically, anyone over the age of 30 with Downs, will develop Alzheimer's.

This is a double whammy for the poor patients because they have spent so much of their life trying to learn and then they start to deteriorate and it is very hard to realize that they can't be taught anymore.

I am sorry I am not more informational!  Let me know if you don't find anything and I will see what I can find.  Paula
