Question Because my boyfriend and I live 2000 miles away from each other and aren't together too often our main sexual activity is phonesex.

Well, anal sex can be very painful indeed. I sometimes let my partner perform it on me because he likes it alot.
You see the anus is much tighter than even the tightest vagaina and also I think men like the idea, its dirty, sleazy, and well its something different.
If you liked having you ass fingered I think you could like having you ass fucked.
What you need to do is make sure that you are well lubricated and that he takes it very slow. Also I would reccomend you try lots of different positions because the wrong one for you can be really bad.
