Question

hi, i drive a 94 toyota camry and was wondering what it means when my car gets a little shaky in reverse.  it feels like it's about to stall or something. in drive, it acts okay.  what is this problem, and how can i fix it?  thanks for your help!

Answer
I need more information.
Does this happen only after the vehicle has been sitting and the engine is cold? Or does it happen all the time, even if the engine is hot?
Does the engine RPM drop when you place it in Reverse? Is your "check engine" light illuminated?
Is the transmission fluid level OK? It should be check with the engine running after reaching operating temperature.
How many miles on your Camry?
