Question
i just changed my master cylinder due to no brakes, when i went for a test ride after completion my front calipers on my 1972 javelin locked up! my front bearings fried.  is there something i should have adjusted on the power booster? or the proportion valve? the plunger b/w the master cylinder and power booster freely came out when taking off master cylinder is this normal?  thanks dave

Answer
Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?
Does the new master cylinder look like the old one?
Did you replace using a used, new or rebuilt master cylinder?
Did you hold the pin out on the proportioning valve when you bled the system?
Did you bleed the brakes in this order: RR, LR, RF, LF?
What is "b/w"? The push rod in the booster might come out when you remove the master cylinder, it should be reinstalled making sure that it is bottomed out in the booster and that it's depth is correct. If it is too long, it can cause the brakes to drag.
