Question
i have recently purchased a ramble marlin and it needs a lot of work. i am having trouble finding replacement parts for the engine and brakes. the engine is the 287 cid. i would like to rebuild the engine and automatic transmission. where would be a good place to start
The best thing you can do is talk with others who also have a Marlin.
Google "AMC Marlin" and check out the numerous sites dedicated to the Marlin. Here's one for example: http://marlincarsite.com/
The Marlin is basically a fastback Rambler Classic.
Also, join a couple AMC/Rambler car clubs. You can get a lot of information from other members, including where to find spare parts.
