Question
How can you detect a vacuum leak.
1) listen for a hissing sound
2) place a piece of vacuum hose to your ear and move the other end around the suspected area.
3) spray carb cleaner around the intake manifold and see if the rpm changes.
4) remove vacuum hoses one at a time from the intake manifold, cover the hole with your finger and see if the rpm changes.
