Question
Kevin,this question is not American Motors specific, but do you know what I can use to remove scratches and smears on my windshield caused by metal parts of the wiper blade? Thanks.
There is a special product specialists use for removing small scratches in glass. It is used with a special buffing wheel that rotates at a paticular speed so the glass doesn't get too hot and break. An automotive glass shop would have better information. I have seen people use a paste made from Bon Ami cleanser and water. Bon Ami is a fine abrasive. Use a clean towel and rub in a circular motion on the glass. Can't gaurantee it, but might be worth a try. Good luck.
