QUESTION: hi. ive got images of amiga workbench and yet nothing happens on my pc. what files do i need as the power supply to my amiga is not working?

ANSWER: Hi James,

What program are you attempting to emulate Workbench on your PC with? While I've never used either, there are two that I know of--UAE (Unix Amiga Emulator) which is free, and Amiga Forever, which is a commercial emulator from Cloanto.

Okay--unfortunately, I've never used UAE to be able to give you an answer to your configuration question, but you may be able to find some help on UseNet's comp.sys.amiga.misc or comp.sys.amiga.hardware newsgroups (links below):

Failing that, you might consider trying Amiga Forever, which although not free, has many benefits that UAE doesn't:
