Amiga Problems/A4000T No mouse movement

Question
I have a A4000t boots up fine and everything works all but the mouse movement. Both buttons work and you can move the pointer with the key board just not with the mouse. Both CIA and Paula chip have been replaced and still the same results. The keyboard lock is not on and other amiga mice have been tired..

Answer
Hi Pior,

From what you describe, I can't help but wonder if perhaps the mouse input connector itself is bad (i.e. the connector on the motherboard), seeing as you've had both the CIA and Paula chips replaced. It definitely sounds like bad hardware that needs a technician to take a look at it. If you're in the U.S., Software Hut (www.softhut.com) may be able to help, or if you're outside of the U.S., you could try AmigaKit (www.amigakit.com).

I hope this helps!
