Amiga Problems/Amiga Floppy Drive

Question
My original drive appears to be extremely dirty.  The problem is that the old 720 Floppies seem to "clog" the system with one reading.
A. Is there a replacement for the floppy drive?
B. Where can I get fresh 720K floppies.

Answer
Hi Regis,

You should be able to find both replacement internal/external drives and low-density disks via one of the following places: eBay.com, softhut.com, or amigakit.com. However, if neither place has low-density floppy disks in stock, it is possible (though not always recommended) to format and use high-density disks as if they low-density. I remember having done that in my Amiga days with some success.

I hope this helps!

Greg

I certainly don't know everything about the Amiga, but having been a user of several different models for about fifteen years, I'm willing to share what I know.
