hi i just bought a amiga 500 from ebay and it works fine apart from the buttons on the keyboard are not responding like esc,f1.and spacebar or return..the caps lock button usually goes green nothing either...can you help me thanks... ps can you tell me how to reset the amiga 500 after you have finished playing a game i forgot what keys thanks

Hi Ross,

From what you've described, it sounds like your keyboard needs replacement (the caps lock button makes it sound like more than just keys that need cleaning). You could contact Software Hut (www.softhut.com) or amigakit.com and see if they have any spares available. If you're not comfortable replacing the keyboard yourself, it may well be cheaper/better to buy another used Amiga 500 on eBay (I haven't checked prices, so I can't say), but of course it certainly doesn't hurt to compare prices before buying.

To rest the Amiga, hold down all three of the following keys at the same time for about two seconds: Left-Ctrl, Left-Amiga, Right-Amiga.
