Amiga Problems - amiga 500

Expert: Gregory Donner - 3/20/2009

Question
i have a friend from england who has an old amiga 500 - how do we change to use united states electricity - the current power supply has big three prong plug - can we just get an adapter or do we need to do something else

Answer
Hi Tom,

I'm not very familiar with electrical adapters or what's required, but the folks at the following website "Changes In Latitude" should be able to help you--the most important info to mention to them is what current and voltages your Amiga power supply needs, and if they have something that can properly match it:

http://www.cil.com/xs-adapters.htm

I hope this helps!

Greg
