Question
HI MY AMIGA 1200 WAS WORKING FINE. BUT NOW WHEN I TRY TO LOAD THE GAMES FROM MY HARDRIVE USING ICONS FROM THEIR FOLDERS, KEEP GETTING MESSAGE WORKBENCH BAD ARGUMENTS

Answer
Hi Jim,

If your games were running fine before from your hard drive, then I suspect you may have a corrupt file or bad block on your hard drive. I would suggest checking your hard drive for errors with a tool such as DiskSalv (available at the link below):

http://aminet.net/disk/salv/DiskSalv11_32.lha

However, if this is the first time you've run your game(s) from the hard drive, then the issue may be that they were never designed for that to begin with. Most Amiga games (especially early ones) were never designed to be run from the hard drive, but rather directly from the disk itself. Keep in mind that just a successful drag-and-drop copying of the disk icon to your hard drive does not mean it will run correctly--Amiga games often require running from a cold or warm boot directly from the disk drive.

I hope this helps!
