hi i have an amiga a500 the problem is i cant get no picture on my telly ive used the a520 and mono output but still no picture please help

If you're sure that you've checked through the various channels on your TV for the A520's output without success, you could try another A520 (from a place like amigakit.com) or you could try the following device, which, although a little bit expensive will let you connect your Amiga to a high-end flat screen LCD or digital monitor/TV:

Generally, the A520's output won't be as good as the item above (according to the Amiga Hardware Database, the A520 has "atrocious video quality"):
